I was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, where I developed a love of painting nature at a young age. When I was a child, I spend my summers on my Grandparents’ apple farm where I found inspiration in the little things. A hen and her chicks or a bird’s nest found on a creek bank might end up in a painting. My work is my vision of nature and life in the mountains. Inspiration is everywhere.

I work primarily with acrylics and ink but occasionally venture into oils. My work features botanicals and birds and the insects that are all around us.
